Welcome to your Required Graduation Application Workshop!
What is this?
All students who are 1) no longer in pre-major status, 2) have completed 75 or more credit hours, and 3) anticipate graduating within the next 3+ semesters are required to complete a virtual Graduation Application Workshop (GAW) (you may also see this hold previously referred to as the Graduation Planning Workshop, but they are one in the same!). This workshop is designed to help you review any remaining requirements for your degree, and for you to determine your anticipated graduation date.
This required workshop serves as your official application for your future graduation from the College of Arts & Sciences!
This workshop has an associated advisement hold to ensure that you complete it before registering for your next semester so that you have reviewed what your remaining requirements are.
How do I get the hold removed?
To complete the workshop and remove the hold:
- View the PowerPoint in its entirety.
- Email your completed assignment to us at asadvise@unm.edu. Do not send the worksheet, screenshots, or pictures. Type your response in the email itself.
- Hold will be removed and confirmation sent 24 to 48 business hours after receipt.
Instructions:
- Download all three items prior to starting and then open them from your desktop.
- If you’re unable to download the PowerPoint, you must view it in slideshow mode via a web browser in order for certain elements of the presentation to function properly (failure to do so may result in you missing key information). This viewing option may take up your entire screen.
- Follow the instructions in the “1. START HERE” presentation to successfully complete the workshop.
