Before starting at UNM, I was an academic advisor for 9 years at community colleges in Key West and most recently Orlando, Florida. I am a bit of a wanderer by nature and have lived in multiple places, but none anywhere west of the Mississippi. (I was raised in Buffalo, N.Y.)  If it involves ice hockey, I am here for it. Super excited ABQ is getting a minor league hockey team. Higher Ed is in my blood as both of my parents were in Education, as well as my favorite sibling, my sister Melissa.
