Advising Philosophy
I believe that advising matters because some journeys are better with a roadmap! The goal is graduation, but so much happens along the way. I aspire to help students navigate the university system to best benefit them and their time spent here. When I advise students, I aspire to present them with relevant and useful information while offering a compassionate ear. I listen fully to students, in an open and inclusive atmosphere. I want students to know that I genuinely care about their success and building the life they aspire to lead.About Me
Born in Albuquerque, I'm a proud UNM alumna with a Bachelor's in English with a History minor. I come to advising from UNM's Enrollment Management where I was previously an Admissions Advisor. I have often worked in education, working as a substitute teacher and instructional assistant over the years. In my free time you can find me enjoying time with my family, reading, playing video games, crafting, or drinking way too much coffee.Departments/Programs
